We are an architecture studio and a carpentry workshop. Yes, we do love and believe in the importance of great craftsmanship for changing the world for the better. We design and build small scale projects such as housing, urban interventions, pavilions and furniture for both public and private clients. Building Architecture is a collaboration between Tan & Blixenkrone and Thomas Harboe Architects. We are based in Copenhagen but love traveling for projects.

The Raft has been designated as one of the Sustainable Development Goals-pavilions for construction during the World Capital of Architecture 2023. The pavilion is a floating platform that invites visitors to have a direct and playful sensory experience of the water. Special attention has been given to accessibility in the design of the pavilion to ensure easy access for everyone, including individuals with reduced mobility. The pavilion is built with the purpose of raising awareness about the rising sea levels and the challenges they pose to coastal cities and their populations.
